The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Executive Team and other members of the Executive Leadership Team with administrative tasks and completing assignments in accordance with daily priorities.

**FREE SCHOOLING**   Are you interested in learning a new skill?  Enroll in Dealer School and you will be taught how to deal Blackjack and other carnival games, including Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Mississippi Stud, High Card Flush and Free Bet Blackjack.  This class is free for all enrolled students, and once you have completed the course, your new skillset can be used to retain employment at any casino hiring experienced dealers.   Any candidate who successfully completes the course will be offered employment here at Hard Rock Ottawa, contingent on them successfully obtaining a gaming license with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of managing the Food & Beverage areas (dining room, gaming floor, outlets, etc.) with support of the team to project Hard Rock’s high standards of service and professional hospitality at all times and to ensure guests are provided with an authentic experience that rocks.   This full time position will offer you fully paid benefits, vacation, sick time, flexible schedule, pension plan, free parking & career advancement.    The ideal candidate must be available to work morning, day, night and overnight shifts. This position works a rotational shift schedule. You must have a car as there is no public transportation to our site.

The Junior Player Development Host supports the Player Development team in strengthening relationships with targeted guests, to grow revenue, build brand loyalty, and ensure excellence in guest experiences. This position would focus on welcoming and monitoring the VIP Lounge, along with providing assistance with other business development initiatives over phone, email, or in-person during daily casino interactions and hosting VIP’s at special events. The Dual Count Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the soft drop and count team.  He or she has a strong presence on the gaming floor, supporting the management of people and interacting with customers while delivering exceptional customer service. When the individual is not performing supervisory tasks, they are working in a Count Attendant role.

Under the direction of the Cage Shift Manager, the supervisor is accountable for funds, verification of wins, handling customer disputes, enforcing department policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned. The individual will have a strong working knowledge of all areas of the Casino Cage.

The Count Attendant is primarily responsible for the collection and processing of large volumes of currency from Tables Games, Slot Machines and Food and Beverage for reporting purposes. The Attendant provides documentation of counts fulfilling all Gaming and Hard Rock regulatory requirements.   Please note this is a physical position, the successful candidate must be able to bend, twist, carry, and push large loads. 

The Cage & Coin Cashier is responsible for managing window impressments, reconciling Main Bank Inventory, filling and reconciling food & beverage floats and completing fills & credits for our Table Games department. Performs high volume cash and non-cash transactions for our guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.  

Hard Rock Ottawa is hiring a part time Cook to join the team! The ideal candidate must be able to work Thursday to Sunday from anywhere between 1:00pm and 11:00pm. You must have transportation to the Casino as there is no public transportation near. Join a team that will rock your world!

The Dual RateSurveillance Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Surveillance Employees in a shift work environment.  Strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be vital to your management of people and interacting with internal customers while delivering exceptional customer service.  

A Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing all assigned games in accordance with established policies and procedures, while providing exceptional guest service.

A Dual Rate Shift Manager/Pit Manager is responsible for performing the duties of a Pit Manager and/or the duties of a Shift Manager, based on their shift assignment:   - While working as a Pit Manager, the team member is responsible for the overall management and efficient operation of an assigned section of Table Games on the gaming floor, which includes employee management, oversight and development, enforcement of policies and procedures, staffing and operations adjustments, game protection, dealing with guest issues and providing the highest standard of guest service in order to ensure return play.   - While working as a Shift Manager, the team member is responsible for the management and oversight of all Table Games operations during a particular shift. They must ensure that the gaming floor is managed effectively and efficiently, including staffing levels, game spread and table limits, mentoring the management team and coordinating with other departments to ensure all available resources are being utilized effectively in order to provide an exceptional gaming experience for our guests, while maximizing product revenue and protecting the brand.

A Dual Rate Pit Manager/Supervisor is responsible for performing the duties of a Floor Supervisor and/or the duties of a Pit Manager, based on their shift assignment:   - While working as a Floor Supervisor, the team member is responsible for the supervision of a specific section of casino Table Games for a particular shift, which includes employee development, enforcement of policies and procedures and providing exceptional guest service.   While working as a Pit Manager, the team member is responsible for the overall management and efficient operation of an assigned section of Table Games on the gaming floor, which includes employee management, oversight and development, enforcement of policies and procedures, staffing and operations adjustments, game protection, dealing with guest issues and providing the highest standard of guest service in order to ensure return play.

A Table Games Floor Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of a specific section of casino Table Games for a particular shift. This includes employee development, the management and enforcement of all applicable policies and procedures (for both Table Games operations and the general property), all while maintaining the highest standards of player service. They are responsible for creating memorable moments for all of our guests by ensuring that their team is offering an exciting, well-paced, accurately dealt and fairly delivered gaming experience that will ensure player satisfaction and return play.
